EL DORADO, Kan. – Butler soccer defeated the Seward Saints 4-0 in the Region 6 Tournament quarterfinal on Friday afternoon at BG Products Veterans Sports Complex.
The Grizzlies (13-2-4) are on to the Region 6 semifinals on Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. The Hutchinson Blue Dragons will travel to El Dorado where the two teams will battle for a spot in the Region 6 Championship on Sunday in Overland Park.
Two goals in both the first and second half led the Grizzlies to the 4-0 win over the Saints (2-12-6). Freshman London Ingram netted two goals, one in both halves, to push her tally to 17 goals this season.

Sophomore Ruby Kilden got the scoring started in the 16th minute as her deep shot was deflected off a Saint defender into the goal. Ingram scored the two middle goals and freshman Ellie Baillie scored her first collegiate goal in the 71st minute, a header off a Sakiko Manabe corner kick to make it 4-0.

Butler advances to the Region 6 semifinal round for the 23rd straight season, all 23 years the program has existed.
