KJCCC and Region VI Cross Country Championships pushed back to Friday

Due to the chance of cold wintery conditions the next few days, the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference and the Region VI Cross Country Championships have been moved to Friday, October 30 in El Dorado, KS.

The women's 5K race will begin at 12:00pm followed by the men's 8K race at 1:00pm.

"With the current amount of snow and ice on the course and the chance of more in the next 48-72 hours, we made the decision to move the meet to Friday," said Butler Athletic Director Todd Carter. "Friday is supposed to be sunny and in the 50's so it looks like we will have much better weather to host the championships."
