The Butler Soccer team finished the 2010-2011 academic year with a conference leading 3.23 GPA to earn their sixth academic conference championship. Butler continues to lead the way in academic excellence when it comes to KJCCC Women's Soccer. The Grizzlies also held the title in 03, 04, 05, 06, 08.

The Grizzlies have also had a conference leading 16 academic all-americans and 25 academic all-conference players. Coach Hunter commented, "I think this is just a testament to the type of student-athletes that we are recruiting and producing here at Butler Community College. We want them to leave here not just prepared on the field but in the classroom as well."
