Sophomoe goalkeeper Kyrah Klumpp has been nearly lights out to start the season and it is being recognized as she is named, for the second week in a row the KJCCC Div. I Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week.
Klumpp, a sophomore from Valley Center, KS, saved her second penalty of the season in a 1-0 loss to #8 Hill College on Sunday afternoon. Earlier in the week Klumpp recorded a 5-1 road win at #11 Rose State saving 4 of 5 shots faced. Klumpp is now 3-1-0 on the season, with all three games being against NJCAA nationally ranked opposition.
This is the third time Klumpp has received this honor, once as a freshman and now twice int he first two weeks of season.
