Butler Volleyball Camps

The Butler Volleyball Skills Camp will take place June 25th-26th at the Power Plant, Butler's gym located in the 500 building on the El Dorado campus. Campers entering 6th-8th Grade in the fall of 2025 are welcomed! There will be two sessions per day, Setters/Hitters from 10am-12pm and Serve/Pass from 1pm-3pm. Each session will run both days for a total of 4 hours of instruction per day. The cost is $50 per skill or $75 for both (total of 8 hours of instruction). Payment can be made via Venmo at the QR code on the bottom of this form or at check-in via cash or check. All campers will be instructed by the coaches and members of the 2025 Butler Grizzly Volleyball Team.

Setting

Campers will be instructed in many aspects of setting, including court awareness, footwork, hand positioning, release, location and decision-making.

Hitting

We will cover the proper footwork, approach and arm swing that will help you become a dominant hitter. You will learn how to hit, tip, and roll-shot to have multiple offensive threats.

Serving & Passing

This area will help you develop consistent, accurate serves with good tosses, proper footwork and follow through. It also covers passing progression and drills that will help you become a reliable passer. Good offense starts with good passing

Digging & Floor Defense

We will cover digging progression and defensive drills. We will also cover ball-handling drills that will make you a better defensive player.
