Kobuszewski Tabbed KJCCC West Co-Player of the Week

Redshirt sophomore outfielder Micah Kobuszewski was named KJCCC West Division Co-Player of the Week for his efforts with Butler baseball a week ago.

Kobuszewski, a Topeka native, had a big week at the plate as Butler took on Neosho in a midweek contest before returning to conference action vs. Garden City later in the week. He shares the honors with Hutchinson's Luis Pimental-Guerrero.

Kobuszewski totaled two four hit games, two multi-RBI games and walked five times compared to just one strikeout on the week. Kobuszewski hit .714 and slugged 1.000 in three games played and 14 at bats.

In the midweek loss to Neosho, Kobuszewski was 3-4 with two runs scored and a run driven in. He hit his third home run of the season in the second inning to get Butler o the board.

The other four hit game came at Garden City when he finished 4-4 with two RBI and two walks.

On the season, Kobuszewski is hitting .381 with a .500 on-base percentage. He has 16 hits, 16 RBI and 11 runs scored.
