Foster makes name for himself as he is voted KJCCC Defensive Player of the Week

For the second time this season, a Butler football player has been selected as the Jayhawk Conference Defensive Player of the Week. This week, it was Caleb Foster stepping up for the Grizzlies and earning the honor.

Caleb Foster, a freshman defensive lineman from Millbrook, AL, was huge for the Grizzlies up front in Butler's 45-3 win on the road at Highland. Foster and the Butler defense held the Scotties to just 81 total yards of offense, an average of 1.4 yards per play and kept them to converting just 1 of 18 on third downs. Foster had three tackles in the win with two of those being quarterback sacks for a loss of 19 yards. He forced a fumble, had a quarterback hurry, and broke up a pass in the game.
