Carson Arndt named KJCCC Special Teams Player of the Week for second time this season

Carson Arndt was named this week's KJCCC Special Teams Player of the Week announced the conference office Tuesday afternoon.

Arndt, sophomore kicker from Wichita, KS, scored 13 of the Grizzlies 16 points Saturday night in the 27-16 road loss to No. 2-ranked Hutchinson. Arndt started the game making two field goals in the first quarter, a 40-yarder and 46-yarder to score the first six points of the game. Arndt would go onto make a 32-yard field goal in the second quarter and another 22-yarder in the fourth to keep the Grizzlies within striking distance. Arndt finished 4/5 with his only miss on the night was a 46-yard attempt. He was 1/1 on extra points.

This is Arndt's second time being named Special Teams Player of the Week and the seventh time for a Butler football player this season, at least one award winner each week except during the bye week.
