Massey's 85-yard house call earns him Jayhawk Defensive Player of the Week

After a huge third quarter 85-yard pick six, Norman Massey has been named this week's Kansas Jayhawk Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Massey, a 6-3 linebacker from Wichita, KS, made a huge play that broke the game open for the Grizzlies on Saturday in their 41-24 win over No. 10 Iowa Central.

The Wichita East grad picked off Triton quarterback Omarion Bartlet and took it to the house 85-yards for a touchdown. Massey's interception return is the 6th longest interception return for a touchdown in program history. Massey also totaled four tackles on the night in the Grizzlies victory.

This is Massey's second time being named Defensive Player of the Week and the eighth time for a Butler football player this season, at least one award winner each week except during the bye week.
