Edwards Named KJCCC and NJCAA Special Teams Player of the Week

EL DORADO, Kan. – Butler special teams have played well all season and it has shown with three KJCCC Special Teams Player of the Week picks.
This week, punter Chevy Edwards earned his second KJCCC Special Teams Player of the Week honor this season and was also named the NJCAA Special Teams Player of the Week.
Edwards, a sophomore from Melbourne, Victoria, earned the honor for his performance in Butler's 7-3 win over Iowa Central. He finished with five punts and had a 41.6-yard average. He had a long of 53 and put one punt inside the 20. He punted impressively despite wind gusts up to 25 mph throughout the game.
