CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The National Junior College Athletic Association released its list of football All-Americans for the 2024 season on Monday afternoon.

Butler football saw three student-athletes named NJCAA All-Americans, the most for the Grizzlies since 2013 when they also had three named to an All-American team.
Redshirt freshman defensive tackle Seven Cloud and redshirt sophomore return specialist Da'Realyst Clark were picked as first team selections while sophomore linebacker Landon Boss was an honorable mention pick. It marks the seventh consecutive season a Grizzly has been named an All-American. Butler now has 128 NJCAA All-Americans in program history.
SEVEN CLOUD – 1ST TEAM ALL AMERICAN
Cloud wraps up his first season as a Grizzly being named a KJCCC first team All-Conference honoree, KJCCC Defensive Player of the Year and a NJCAA first team All-American. He stuffed the stat sheet from his defensive tackle position racking up 48 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, three blocked kicks (second most in NJCAA D1), two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup. He routinely broke through double teams and ruined opponents offensive game plans. Cloud was named the KJCCC Player of the Week after the Grizzlies defeated top ranked Hutchinson in week seven. He finished with 9.0 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and career-high 3.5 sacks in the game.
DA'REALYST CLARK – 1ST TEAM ALL AMERICAN
A dynamic playmaker with the ball in his hands, Clark was named a NJCAA first team All-American to go with being a KJCCC first team selection. Clark was one of two players across all of NJCAA D1 to finish with both a punt return for a touchdown and a kickoff return for a touchdown. He had a 94-yard kickoff return for a touchdown on the road at No. 1 ranked Iowa Western and an 85-yard punt return touchdown on the road at Ellsworth. Clark finished the season averaging 27.7 yards per kickoff return and 16.6 yards per punt return.
LANDON BOSS – HONORABLE MENTION ALL AMERICAN
Butler's leader on the defensive side of the ball, linebacker Landon Boss was an honorable mention selection. Boss led the Jayhawk Conference during the regular season with 90 tackles, which also ranks 10th best across all of NJCAA D1 following the national championship game. The 90 tackles were the most for a Grizzly since 2017. Boss also added 13.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks to go with three interceptions, two fumble recoveries and a pass breakup. He had five or more tackles in 10 of 11 games including 14 tackles in two different games. He earned KJCCC Defensive Player of the Week honors in week five in Butler's loss to No. 3 ranked Snow College. He tallied a career-high 14 total tackles as well as a sack, tackle for loss, and a quarterback hurry. Boss also clinched Butler's win over top ranked Hutchinson in week seven with an interception on the Blue Dragons final drive.
