Williams leads the way as Butler picks up road win over Pratt Saturday afternoon

The Grizzlies picked up their second victory of the week with an impressive Jayhawk Conference road win, dominating the Pratt Beavers in a wire to wire 75-57 victory at the Beaver Dome on Saturday.

The Grizzlies were led by the scoring of Isaiah Williams who followed up a double-double in Tuesday's win against Northwest Tech with a 19 point game on Saturday. Williams was joined by Rob Brown and Isaac Ondekane who also scored in double figures. Brown finished with 15 points while Ondekane put up 13.

The Grizzlies shot 49% as a team, and had a big night from the free throw line, hitting 14 of their 17 shots from the stripe. The turnover battle turned out to be a huge difference in this one, as the Grizzlies forced 13 turnovers and converted 21 points off those turnovers. The Grizzlies turned it over just five times themselves, their lowest total of the season. Butler totaled nine steals led by Brown's five.

Butler has now won two straight and are 8-2 on the year and back to even in KJCCC play sitting at 2-2. They face a pivotal week, as they will play two bitter rivals and two top 10 opponents in a span of four days, traveling to Nellis Hall for a date with the ninth ranked Coffeyville Red Ravens before welcoming the defending league champs and sixth ranked Hutchinson Blue Dragons to the Power Plant on Saturday.
