Butler men's basketball sophomore forward Jamichael Stillwell was named the KJCCC Player of the Week the league announced on Tuesday.

Stillwell, an Atlanta, GA, native is the first Grizzly basketball student-athlete in the 2023-24 season to pick up the weekly award.

He helped Butler to a 2-0 week with a 77-55 home win over Indy on Wednesday and a 70-67 overtime win at Pratt on Saturday. Stillwell added his ninth and 10th double-doubles of the season.

In the win over Indy, he totaled 17 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and a steal. In the road win at Pratt he brought down 17 rebounds as well as adding 15 points and shooting 3 of 4 from the charity stripe. Stillwell is the leading rebounder in the conference, pulling down 12.1 on a per game basis, 1.7 more than the next highest.

The Grizzlies return to action on Sunday as they take on the Cowley Tigers at 3 p.m.
