Nitsche Officially Introduced as Butler Men's Basketball Coach
EL DORADO, Kan. – Eric Nitsche was officially introduced as Butler Community College's men's basketball coach on Friday afternoon at a press conference on the campus of BCC.
EL DORADO, Kan. – Eric Nitsche was officially introduced as Butler Community College's men's basketball coach on Friday afternoon at a press conference on the campus of BCC.
Nitsche comes to Butler after spending the last 10 seasons as the lead assistant for Tommy DeSalme at both Cowley and Hutchinson. He helped lead Hutchinson to the NJCAA National Tournament in two out of three seasons on staff as well as helping Cowley to two berths including an appearance in the 2021 NJCAA Tournament Championship game. Teams with Nitsche on staff have led the Jayhawk Conference in points per game for the last five seasons.
Nitsche has spent his entire 14-year coaching career within the Jayhawk Conference, also adding a stop at KCKCC for four years following his playing career. For the full details on Nitsche's career up to this point, click this link.
