EL DORADO, Kan. – Butler men's basketball continues to be ranked in the NJCAA Division 1 men's basketball poll, slotting in at No. 11 in the week seven iteration.

Butler (13-3, 8-2 KJCCC) has been ranked in every poll this season aside from the preseason poll, checking in no lower than No. 11 which is where they are slotted this week. The Grizzlies are 1-2 since coming back from winter break with losses at home to then No. 23 Coffeyville and Hutchinson and a road win at Garden City.
Cowley is the highest ranked Jayhwak Conference school being ranked ninth. The Grizzlies check in at No. 11 and two Jayhawk schools, Coffeyville and Barton, are right behind in 12th and 13th, respectively. Hutchinson is receiving votes.
The Grizzlies are 3-1 vs. currently ranked top-25 teams with wins over No. 3 NEO A&M, No. 4 Indian Hills and No. 13 Barton. The lone loss was to No. 12 Coffeyville who at the time was ranked 23rd.
Butler treks on in KJCCC play on Wednesday as they host the Cloud County Thunderbirds at 7:30 p.m. at the Power Plant.
