Butler (16-6, 11-5) is ranked for an 11th straight week as they have been in all polls across the 2024-25 season aside from the preseason ranking. The No. 24 rank is Butler's lowest of the season with the Grizzlies climbing as high as No. 5 in the week six poll.
Last week saw just one game played for Butler as they fell 92-75 to then No. 22 Barton in Great Bend.
The Grizzlies are one of four Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference schools that are ranked joining Cowley (8th), Coffeyville (14th) and Barton (15th). Butler has played five currently ranked squads and is 3-3 with wins over No. 15 Barton, No. 2 Indian Hills and No. 22 NEO A&M and losses to No. 8 Cowley, No. 14 Coffeyville and No. 15 Barton.
Game action resumes on Monday as Butler travels to Goodland to take on the Fort Hays Tech Northwest Tigers at 8:30 p.m. CST.
