Tamara Nard named KJCCC Div. I Women's Basketball 'Player of the Week'

Sophomore forward Tamara Nard had a big offensive week for the No. 9 Grizzlies averaging a double-double with 20.5 points per game and 10.5 rebounds on the week. She connected on 47% of her shots and averaged 2.5 blocks per game in her 25 minutes played per game. Nard has posted four double doubles this season and has helped her team to a No. 9 ranking in the NJCAA.

As a freshman, Nard picked up this honor two times. This is her first of the season and she becomes the second Grizzly women's basketball player to earn this honor this season as SKyla Knight was named 'Player of the Week' in week six.
