Freddie Wallace Finalist for 2023 NJCAA Division I World Exposure's Freshman of the Year

Butler Women's Basketball Freshman Freddie Wallace is one of four finalists for the World Exposure Report Freshman of the Year. World Exposure Report is a leading women's basketball news and recruiting site.

She is joined by Waiata Jennings of Collin College, Saneea Bevley of McLennan, and Haitiana Releford of Connors State. Freddie Wallace is the only forward on the list, standing with three guards.

This is not Wallace's first accolade of the season as she has been named KJCCC Player of the Week three times as well as a national honor of NJCAA Player of the Week.

At the time of her nomination Freddie was the Grizzlies leading scorer and rebounder on the season averaging 17.9 points per game and 6.9 rebounds per game. Her 17.9 points per game were good for 4th best in the Jayhawk Conference and 24th best in all NJCAA Division 1 Women's Basketball.

The winner of the 2023 World Exposure NJCAA Freshman of the Year Award will be announced Tuesday, March 21st during the NJCAA National Tournament.
