Grizzlies Go 2-0 in Oklahoma, Move to 4-0 on Season
ENID, Okla. – The No. 7 ranked Butler women’s basketball traveled to Enid, Oklahoma, on Friday and Saturday and picked up two wins over NOC-Enid and NOC-Tonkawa, moving their record to 4-0.

ENID, Okla. – The No. 7 ranked Butler women's basketball traveled to Enid, Oklahoma, on Friday and Saturday and picked up two wins over NOC-Enid and NOC-Tonkawa, moving their record to 4-0.
Game 1: Butler 68, NOC-Enid 61
In a game that Butler trailed by 15 at halftime, the Grizzlies ultimately came back with a stellar second half performance to defeat the NOC-Enid Jets 68-61.
The game was tied 17-17 after the first quarter but the Jets outscored Butler 21-6 in the second quarter to take a 38-23 lead into halftime. Butler took it to NOC-Enid in the third quarter, winning the period 26-6 which pushed them towards the win.
Freddie Wallace scored a team-high 21 points, also adding five rebounds and two blocks. Maycee James did a little of everything, racking up 17 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals.
Game 2: Butler 90, NOC-Tonkawa 54
The second game of the weekend for Butler was not as close as the first as the Grizzlies throttled NOC-Tonkawa, 90-54.
Butler immediately got its offensive game working, taking a 30-14 lead after the first quarter.
Dayuna Colvin led with a game-high 20 points to go with six rebounds, five steals and two assists. Freddie Wallace was 7-11 from the field adding 16 points and four rebounds.
Butler held the Lady Mavs to 25.4% shooting on the game.
The Grizzlies return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 15 vs. NOC-Enid at 5:30 p.m. for the second meeting between the two this season.
