Grizzlies Win Big Over Pratt in Conference Opener
EL DORADO, Kan. – No. 24 ranked Butler women’s basketball grabbed a 63-point home win over the Pratt Beavers, winning 103-40 on Saturday afternoon at the Power Plant.

EL DORADO, Kan. – No. 24 ranked Butler women's basketball grabbed a 63-point home win over the Pratt Beavers, winning 103-40 on Saturday afternoon at the Power Plant.
Butler (6-0, 1-0 KJCCC) remains unbeaten on the young season and snag the win over the Beavers (4-3, 0-1) to get conference play started.
The Grizzlies never trailed in the game, leading 23-3 after the first quarter as they went on a 17-0 run over the final 6:48 of the first quarter.
Alba Cunill led all scorers with a career-high 17 off the bench for the Grizzlies, shooting 6-8 from the floor. Ashley Singhateh followed that up with 15 of her own to go with eight assists and six rebounds. Kenzie Galliart pulled down a team-high eight rebounds to go with nine points.
Butler forced 30 Pratt turnovers compared to coughing up just nine of their own. They scored 41 points off the turnovers. They outscored the Beavers 50-14 in the paint and outrebounded them 52-32. Butler held Pratt to 27.8% while shooting 46.7% themselves.
Next up for Butler is at Seward County on Tuesday with a 5:30 p.m. tipoff set from the Greenhouse.
