Volleyball Splits at MSU-West Plains Trimatch
WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Butler volleyball split a pair of matches at MSU-West Plains’ trimatch on Friday, defeating Fort Scott 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-13) and falling to MSU 3-0 (23-25, 14-25, 19-25).

WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Butler volleyball split a pair of matches at MSU-West Plains' trimatch on Friday, defeating Fort Scott 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-13) and falling to MSU 3-0 (23-25, 14-25, 19-25).
The Grizzlies (6-8) return to conference play on Wednesday at 6 p.m. as Garden City travels to the Power Plant.
Butler 3, Fort Scott 0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-13)
Butler had control of the match start to finish, sweeping the Fort Scott Greyhounds in the morning match. Sophomore Sarah Sullivan led with 10 kills and 13 digs for a double-double. Freshman Sophia Neihouse added nine kills and sophomore Raven Boone added eight. Sophomore Anja Milosevic led the way with 14 assists while sophomore Laynee Brown dug up 12 Greyhound attacks. The Grizzlies hit a match-high .423 in the third set.
MSU-West Plains 3, Butler 0 (23-25, 14-25, 19-25)
Butler battled in their second match of the game coming within two in the first set but ultimately fell 3-0 to the host Grizzlies. Sullivan led Butler offensively again with 10 kills while sophomore Avery DeLong and Boone each added seven. Milosevic had 31 assists and Brown had 14 digs. Butler hit .255 on the match, getting stronger as it progressed as they hit .314 in the third set.
