Grizzlies Snag 2nd Consecutive Conference Win
CONCORDIA, Kan. – Butler volleyball picked up a 3-1 (25-19, 23-25, 25-20, 25-23) win over Jayhawk foe Cloud County at Arley Bryant Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.
CONCORDIA, Kan. – Butler volleyball picked up a 3-1 (25-19, 23-25, 25-20, 25-23) win over Jayhawk foe Cloud County at Arley Bryant Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.
The win marked Butler's (10-10, 3-3 KJCCC) second straight conference victory and it moves them to .500 in league play. It was also the Grizzlies first road win of the 2024 season. The Grizzlies snapped a 10-match streak of a match going only three sets.
Sarah Sullivan had abig game with 17 kills on .417 hitting to go with nine digs. Anja Milosevic tallied 28 assists and 12 digs while Raven Boone added 10 kills, six digs and six blocks.
Butler returns to action on Friday when they host a trimatch with MSU-West Plains and Kansas Wesleyan's JV squad visiting the Power Plant. Butler will play MSU at noon and KWU at 2 p.m.
