Grizzlies Swept at Colby
COLBY, Kan. – Butler volleyball was swept 3-0 (14-25, 11-25, 23-25) by the No. 8 Colby Trojans at the Colby Event Center Wednesday evening.

COLBY, Kan. – Butler volleyball was swept 3-0 (14-25, 11-25, 23-25) by the No. 8 Colby Trojans at the Colby Event Center Wednesday evening.
The Grizzlies (12-14, 4-6 KJCCC) lost their second straight match, both vs. ranked opponents after falling in four sets to No. 5 Barton at home Monday. Colby moves to 19-2, 9-1 in league play.
Butler kept the first set close but halfway through the Trojans broke away and cruised to the win. Avery DeLong led the Grizzlies with eight kills on .615 hitting. She was the only Grizzly with five or more kills. Anja Milosevic posted 10 assists while Veronica Rangel had six digs.
The Grizzlies hit just .106 and made 21 receiving errors.
Butler returns home on Saturday at 2 p.m. to take on the Seward Saints at 2 p.m.
