Grizzlies Take Down Blue Dragons on the Road
HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Butler volleyball picked up a 3-1 (23-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-23) win over the Hutchinson Blue Dragons at the Hutchinson Sports Arena Wednesday evening.
HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Butler volleyball picked up a 3-1 (23-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-23) win over the Hutchinson Blue Dragons at the Hutchinson Sports Arena Wednesday evening.
The win was Butler's fourth straight as the move to 8-6 in KJCCC play and sweep the regular season from Hutchinson (17-18, 5-7), winning both matches during the regular season.
Hutchinson won the first set before the Grizzlies ripped off three straight set wins to claim the road victory.
The Grizzlies were led by freshman Sophia Neihouse's career-high 18 kills on .424 hitting. Sarah Sullivan added 13 kills and 16 digs for a double-double and Anja Milosevic had 45 assists. The Grizzlies hit .264 as a team.
Butler returns to action on Saturday at 2 p.m. as they host Cloud County for the final home regular season match of the season. The match also serves as sophomore day with nine sophomores set to be recognized in a pregame ceremony.
