The 2024 season will be Lisa Lechtenberg's seventh as head volleyball coach at Butler Community College.

Butler Volleyball has received the AVCA Marine Corp. Academic Award (3.3+ accumulative team GPA) every year during Lechtenberg's tenure.

Butler advanced to the Region 6 championship match in 2023 for the third straight year under Lechtenberg's tenure. The Grizzlies finished 20-13 and 10-6 in KJCCC play. They defeated conference champion Barton in the Region 6 semifinals on their home court before falling in four sets to Colby in the championship. The Grizzlies racked up three wins over ranked teams on the season and were 8-2 in true road matches. Lechtenberg mentored four to All-KJCCC recognition and saw six named to the NJCAA All-Academic team.

The 2022 season was another one of success for the Grizzlies. Lechtenberg guided her Grizzlies to another KJCCC Conference Championship with an impressive 14-2 record in conference play. She led her Grizzlies to five wins over oppenents ranked in the NJCAA Top-20 and the Grizzlies also reached the Region 6 Championship game for the second consecutive year and for just the second time in team history. Lechtenberg also had four players receive All-KJCCC Volleyball Honors with three being named to the First-Team. Ivy Fink was named a second team NJCAA All-American and Kennedy Kelly was an honorable mention NJCAA All-American.

2021 was a historic year for the Butler Volleyball program as coach Lechtenberg led the Grizzlies to their first ever Div. I KJCCC Championship and Region VI title. The Grizzlies also advanced to their first ever NJCAA Div. I National Tournament where they finished 4th in the nation. Butler had two All-Americans in Kayli Duncan and Jaryn Benning to go along with six All-KJCCC Selections. Ivy Fink was named to the  NJCAA All-Tournament team. That season the Grizzlies received 'The Sportsmanship Award' from the NJCAA as a team/program during the National Tournament.

The 2020 season was moved to spring 2021 due to the challenges worldwide with COVID-19. The Grizzlies played a condensed schedule and finished the year 14-10 and a fifth-place KJCCC finish. Butler defeated Colby during the regular season for their first win over the Trojans since 2017 and they took two sets from Seward (first time in over five years) in a heartbreaking five-set loss on the road. Jaryn Benning, Carly Clennan and Sydney Hefty each picked up All-KJCCC honors during the season.

In 2019, the Grizzlies finished 18-12 on the season and 8-8 in a tough conference finishing fifth overall. The Grizzlies defeated Hutchinson 3-0 on September 23, 2019... the first win over the Blue Dragons since September of 2002. Amalie Rupertova was named First Team All-KJCCC while Morgan Bryand, Milayna Hollinger and Jaryn Benning were recognized with Honorable Mention honors. The team finished with 3.59 GPA for the year, 18th in the entire NJCAA.
