Ron enters his sixth year as Event and Operations Manager, and his ninth year overall affiliated with Butler Athletics.

In his role, Castle supervises the event staff for all Butler home sporting events, as well as serving as game adminstrator for select events and playing a major roll in ticketing operations. Ron is also the Coordinator of Student Involvement and Development.

Before being added to the Butler staff full time, Castle volunteered at Butler for three years in a variety of roles, including sports information, ticketing, game operations and general administration. He played an instrumental role in researching and acquiring Butler's athletic bus.

Previous collegiate athletic experience includes working in operations for the University of New Mexico and coaching softball at Neosho County.

Castle has an MBA from Fort Hays State University. He earned his undergraduate degree from University of Nebraska - Kearney. He has an associate's degree from Cowley Community College.
