Odle Named KJCCC Pitcher of the Week

Butler softball freshman pitcher Chloe Odle was named the KJCCC Pitcher of the Week the league announced on Tuesday.

The weekly honor is the second of the season for Odle who was previously named KJCCC Pitcher of the Week in the first week of the season when she struck out 14 across two starts in La Junta, Colo.

A Grizzly has won a conference weekly award in eight of the 12 weeks this season highlighted by Cheyenne Handsaker's five.

Odle, a freshman from Beloit, Kan., picked up two wins on the week in her two starts, moving her record to 13-4 on the season. In 10.0 innings pitched on the week, Odle held a 0.70 ERA with a .114 opponents' batting average against her, allowing one run and striking out six. In an 11-0 win over Dodge, she tossed 3.0 innings without allowing a hit. In a 4-1 win at Indian Hills she tossed a one-run complete game, allowing just four hits in seven innings and striking out five.
