Before Butler:  he played at Charles Paige High School, in Sand Springs, Okla., under Coach Bill Hutson. He plays outfield.  He lettered in baseball three years in high school and he lettered in baseball last year while attending Butler. He participated in the regional and state championships in 2011. He was also All-Conference in 2011 and 2012. He was All-Metro in 2012 as well.

Personal: Shane is the son of Bruce and Cynthia Bridges. He has a young brother and younger sister. Whiles attending Butler, he is majoring in mechanical engineering.
