Before Butler:  he played at Bethany High School, in Oklahoma City, Okla., under Coach Ryon Morgan. He is a pitcher. He lettered in baseball three times in high school and once in college.

Personal:  Grant is the son of Kim Hamilton. He has a younger sister, Tyler Lucas. She plays softball at Oklahoma University. While attending Butler, he is majoring in physical therapy.
