Nickendre Stiger named KJCCC Defensive 'Player of the Week'

Nickendre Stiger, freshman defensive back from Wichita, KS, was named conference defensive 'Player of the Week' after a stellar performance Saturday in the Grizzlies 34-7 win over Highland. Stiger picked off Highland's quarterback twice Saturday night putting a halt to the Scotties offense in the second half. Stiger also recorded six tackles and had a pass breakup in the Grizzlies victory. This makes back to back week's that Stiger has recorded an interception as he had a pick six last week at Coffeyville.

Butler has now had two players named KJCCC defensive 'Players of the Week'.
