Zach Lindsey is in his second year with the Grizzlies as the Director of Player Development and first as special teams coach.

In addition to his coaching duties, Lindsey is the lead instructor of the Butler Community College Fire Science Program while also serving as a volunteer for the El Dorado Fire Department and Butler County Rescue Squad.

A native of Eureka, KS, Lindsey moved to Leon his freshman year and was a graduate of Bluestem High School. After graduation, he moved to North Carolina where he started his fire service career and coached at the middle school level. In 2007, Lindsey joined the North Carolina Army National Guard while also being a full-time firefighter. In 2009, Lindsey was deployed to Iraq with the 30th HBCT. Once he returned home, he continued his fire service career while also coaching multiple sports with a focus on player development and leadership.

Lindsey moved back to Kansas in 2020 and resides in El Dorado with his wife Kimmie and stepson Landry. The couple is expecting another boy later this fall.
