Before Butler: he played at Hutchinson High School under Coach Nathan Henry.  He lettered in football and basketball in 2009 2010 and 2011.

2012-13: played in 23 games and avereaged 8.1 points for the season.  He was a KJCCC all-conference honorable mention.

Personal: he is the son of Cindy Sanchez and has four siblings, Jamar Jaren Jayla and Zye.  While at Butler his major is undecided.
