Emily Adler, sophomore second baseman from Rose Hill, KS, picks up her first Jayhawk Conference 'Player of the Week' honor after a great double header Saturday in Garden City.

Adler put up some big numbers offensively for the Grizzlies in their double-header sweep on the road in Garden City Saturday. Adler went 5-6 for an average of .833, at the plate scoring two runs while driving in six on the day. She hit two doubles and a homerun, was waked twice and did not strike out on the day. Adler is hitting .500 this season with 29 RBI's.

This is Adler's first Player of the Week honor this season and now the Grizzlies have had a total of six KJCCC Player/Pitcher of the week honors named this season through nine weeks of voting.
