Grizzlies pick up first road win of season over NOC-Enid Friday night

The Butler Grizzlies Women's Basketball team improved to 4-0 on the year, with their first road win of the season, coming from behind to defeat Northern Oklahoma College-Enid, 75-69 on Friday.

It was a back and forth game throughout, the Grizzlies opened the game on a 6-0 run, but Enid used two 10-0 runs of their own to take a seven point lead into halftime.

They held the lead until late in the third, when Butler regained momentum and took a 46-45 lead. The two teams battled back and forth the entire half until the Grizzlies got two clutch threes by Emily Mandamin, late in the fourth quarter, and those buckets would ultimately prove to be the difference in a six point victory.

With the victory, Butler remains undefeated on the year and will look to sweep a trip to Oklahoma when they face Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa in Enid on Saturday.
