Butler Baseball traveled to Oklahoma for the third time this season, where the Grizzlies were defeated by Rose State College 8-3, and Eastern Oklahoma State College 7-2.
Game 1- Rose State College
The Grizzlies three run effort in the sixth inning was unfortunately too little too late in the loss to the Rose State Raiders. It was doubles from Markus Hamre and Brock Lummus that put Butler on the board in the seven inning game.
Game 2- Eastern Oklahoma State
Butler totaled two runs on four hits in the second contest of the day; a seven inning game against EOSC. Both runs came in the fifth inning as Josh Holmes doubled bringing in Frank Garcia, and Hayden Dyer singled to advance Cole Murrell and score Holmes.
2-4 becomes the new record for the 2023 Butler Baseball team as they now await their home opener on Thursday the 23rd against Kansas City Kansas Community College.
