Koster Named Conference 'Goalkeeper of the Week'

Maggie Koster, freshman goalkeeper from Wichita, KS, was named the KJCCC 'Goalkeeper of the Week' after her perfromance in the net last week. Koster picked up her second win of the season when the Grizzlies defeated the Johnson County Cavaliers by a score of 2-0. It was also Koster's second shutout on the new season. Prior to the Johnson game, the Grizzlies and Koster were defeated at Coffeyville by a score of 2-1. Both goals came via direct free-kicks that Koster was unable to keep out of the goal. Koster has only allowed those two Coffeyville goals over her last 270+ minutes in goal.

Koster is the first Grizzly soccer player to earch KJCCC honors this season.
