Before Butler: she played at Lawrence Free State High School, in Lawrence Kan., for Coach Nancy Hopkins.  She lettered one year in track and two years in volleyball.

Personal: she is the daughter of Cathy Brittain and Jeffrey Colter and has four siblings.  While at Butler she is undecided in her major.
