For the second consecutive year, the Butler Volleyball team has been awarded with the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award.
The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams of all levels that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale or 4.10 on a 5.0 scale.
Finishing with a team GPA of 3.59, the Grizzlies were one of 32 two-year programs to earn the award this year.
For the second consecutive year, the Grizzlies posted the best team GPA amongst Butler teams with a 3.59 and finished 18th overall in the NJCAA.
