Volleyball completes season sweep of Dodge City with 3-0 win Thursday night

The Butler Volleyball team (12-7, 7-5) finished off the season sweep of the Conquistadors on Thursday night defeating them in straight sets 25-23, 25-16 and 25-20.

It took five sets to get the win out at Dodge City on February 26 but just three Thursday night in the Power Plant as Butler came from behind in all three sets to pick up their seventh KJCCC win of the season.

Jaryn Benning had one of her best nights of the season finishing with 17 kills and 16 digs, picking up her sixth double-double in the last seven matches. Carly Clennan put down nine balls and had a team high five blocks to go along with her .368 hitting %. Caitlyn Rexroat added in eight kills and Sydney Morrow finished with five kills. Jessie Nibarger posted 19 set assists and had 13 digs for her fourth double-double of the season.

NEXT UP: Butler (12-7, 7-5) will host Garden City on Friday, March 12 at 6:30pm in the Power Plant. The Grizzlies will also hold 'Sophomore Night' on Friday as they honor the five sophomores for their hard work and dedication to Butler Volleyball.
