Benning picks up KJCCC Offensive Player of the Week honors

Helping lead Butler to a pair of wins last week and a No. 4 ranking in the NJCAA, Butler's Jaryn Benning has been named this week's KJCCC Offensive Player of the Week.

Jaryn Benninig, junior outside hitter from Topeka, KS, led Butler to a couple more wins this past week with her strong, all-around offensive play. Benning averaged 3.8 kills per set while also serving one ace per set this past week in the Grizzlies two wins. She averaged over two digs per set and hit .278 on the week offensively. Benning is averaging 2.7 kills per set, 259 total and third in KJCCC and has a total of 34 service aces this season.

This is Benning's second KJCCC honor, first Offensive with her other being defensive in week five. Benning becomes the eighth Grizzly to earn KJCCC Player of the Week honors this season.
