EL DORADO, Kan. – Not only has the competition on the court/field wrapped up during the 2024 fall semester, but in the classroom as well as student-athletes have completed their finals and received grades for the semester.

RICHMOND, Va. – Butler men’s cross country finished fourth nationally at Pole Green Park on Saturday afternoon as part of the NJCAA Division 1 Cross Country Championships.

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Butler men’s cross country student-athlete Emmanuel Otim was named the NJCAA Division I National Athlete of the Week by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday.

COLBY, Kan. – Butler freshman cross country runner Emmanuel Otim turned in another big performance at the Region 6 preview and was named the KJCCC Runner of the Week.

WINFIELD, Kan. – Butler men’s and women’s cross country continued their strong season on Saturday at Kansas Veterans Home as the men’s squad won the Region 6 Preview and the women took second at the event hosted by Cowley.

Emmanuel Otim has run three times this season for Butler cross country. All three times Otim has been named the Jayhawk Runner of the Week.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – For a third straight season, a Grizzly on the men’s cross country squad won the individual title at Hutchinson’s Terry Masterson Twilight Classic on Friday evening at Fun Valley Sports Complex.

EL DORADO, Kan. – The Butler Community College cross country and track and field program will see some change with its coaching staff ahead of the 2024-25 seasons.

The NJCAA office released its All-Academic teams Thursday morning and 72 Grizzly student-athletes earned honors while eight of Butler’s 11 programs earned the NJCAA Academic team award.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Butler cross country traveled to the NJCAA National Championships at John Hunt Park on Saturday, with both the men’s and women’s squad placing 11th in the country.

IOLA, Kan. – Butler men’s and women’s cross country competed at the Region VI Cross Country Championships on Friday at the Allen CC Cross Country Course as the men’s squad finished second as the region runners-up and the women placed fifth.
